He is a student, resident of Good News Children's Home, coach for weekly soccer matches, and aspiring photographer. And, he is a leader within the Good News community.
When we visited Good News in May, we took a smartphone to leave with Joseph and the team. This phone ensures solid communication between Renown and Good News and is a resource they can utilize to introduce students to technology. To kick them off, we asked Joseph if there were any students that he thought would be interested in learning to take videos and photographs. Without hesitation, he answered, "Chiwalo."
If you visit Good News, you can't miss Chiwalo. You'll catch him helping prepare dinner, coaching the other kids in an intense soccer match, playing music at church, or in class studying. And, since our visit, he has been shooting photos and reels on the regular. All throughout July, we have highlighted his media on our social. Here are some of our favorites!
